Want to equip yourself with advanced cooking techniques and lead a kitchen crew?

You will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to create a variety of food catered to consumers’ palate and preferences, as well as to apply cost control measures to manage the budget for kitchen operations and food catering for events and functions.

This course also includes a six-month enhanced internship at one of the renowned Restaurants or Hotel F&B outlets that ITE partners with.

Entry Requirements

Nitec GPA:
Nitec in Asian Culinary Arts or Nitec in Western Culinary Arts with minimum GPA of 2.8 (including CCA bonus points)

Note:

  • Shortlisted applicants will have to attend an interview, and pass a prescribed medical examination
  • Students will be required to purchase a Laptop for the course. This is in addition to the course fees. Financial assistance is available to eligible students under ITE Opportunity Fund subject to terms and conditions. For more details on the minimum laptop specifications, please click here.

Career Opportunities

Higher Nitec in Culinary Arts graduates are employed as Demi Chefs in hotels and restaurants. Demi Chefs with work experience and good performance may be promoted to supervisory positions, such as Chef de Partie.
