YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS VIE FOR SHELL LIVEWIRE AWARD
To venture into unchartered fields in the creative media industry, 25-year-old Sandra Neo experiments with new technologies in visual communication and production to create breakthroughs for her company. “I want to do something different in this field. It is only when we can provide an added value to our clients that we can be ahead of our competitors. It also paves the way for us to forge alliances with media owners and advertising agencies,” said the gutsy young entrepreneur. The first in the industry to bring large-size posters to bus shelters and to launch animated advertisements on taxi tops, her company, Media Associated Displays Pte Ltd or M.A.D, provides unique services in advertising promotion through animation and moving image display. Currently, M.A.D. is the only player in the industry that can supply beyond the 20-feet billboard advertisements. Not bad at all for a company that was set up less than 3 years ago.
2 Meet this year’s finalists in the 2007 Shell LiveWIRE Award Presentation Ceremony on Thursday, 18 October 2007 at 0930 hours at ITE HQ Auditorium. Mr Lee Yi Shyan, Minister of State for Trade & Industry, is the Guest-of-Honour for the Ceremony.

(Please refer to Annex A for more information on the finalists.)
