NEW NITEC COURSES POPULAR AMONG GCE ‘N' SCHOOL LEAVERS
From January 2007, GCE ‘O’ and ‘N’ school leavers could enrol in Nitec in Applied Food Science, Nitec in Digital Audio & Video Production, Nitec in Fitness Training, or Nitec in Security Technology. Apart from the four full-time courses, two new specialisations – Digital Video Effects and Interactive Media – were also added to the existing Nitec in Digital Media Design course. More than 700 applications were garnered from the GCE ‘N’ school-leavers cohort in the January 2007 intake exercise.
