BEST AND WISE MADE WAY FOR EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS SYSTEM
The ITE and the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) jointly publicised the phasing out of the BEST* and WISE** programmes on 17 October 2006. Replacing the programmes was the Employability Skills System, or ESS, which was developed for a more comprehensive coverage of foundational skills for workers and the workplace. ITE enrolled its last intake for Module 1 of BEST and WISE in January and March 2007, respectively.
