Under the Enhanced ITE Counselling Framework for Students, the range of counselling services was expanded during the year in review to enable ITE Colleges to better serve the diverse needs of students. With much of the student outreach and direct counselling services being delivered at the Colleges, counsellors from ITE Headquarters were deployed to be stationed full-time at each College, to increase the accessibility of counselling and guidance services to both College staff and students.

Apart from the annual ITE Management-Union Games held on 15 February 2008, a Service Appreciation Award was initiated in FY 2007 to thank Union Presidents and Advisors who have contributed significantly to a healthy industrial relations climate in ITE. Three deserving union leaders were presented with the inaugural award.
