ITE beat more than 100 government programmes submitted by 30 countries to clinch the inaugural global IBM Innovations Award in Transforming Government, administered by the Ash Institute for Democratic Governance and Innovation at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. The Award recognises ITE’s trail-blazing transformation of Vocational and Technical Education (VTE) in Singapore as the world’s most transformative government programme, which has profound impact on citizens’ lives. The Award was conferred on Ash Institute’s 20th Anniversary of Innovations in American Government Awards.
