On the 11 th day of Chinese New Year (that’s 8 Feb for the uninitiated), UITS Branch officials joined College Central in a Lo Hei session. It was a gathering of many new faces on both sides. P(CC) Dr Ricky Tam himself was just about 6 months old (in the College, not actual age!). Ms Vivienne Teo had just joined us from College East. Mr Lim Teck Lee hasn’t quite had his first College anniversary yet. And while Michelle Low was no new face, she had officially assumed the D/Admin portfolio just 2 months back! UITS was led by its new President, himself a few months old on the job - none other than our very own Fang Wei.

It was a fruitful session with feedback and views flowing freely. The leadership may be new, but judging from the way everyone was interacting at the session, there’s little doubt that we can build on the already great management-union relationship in College Central. |
