| College Central is proud to have in its midst Dr Lisa Wang, who clinched the 1st Prize in the Autodesk Asia Pacific Design Competition 2005. The competition, sponsored by Hewlett-Packard Asia Pacific, was conducted both at the country and Asia Pacific levels. Contestants were judged on design and technical excellence, creativity and innovation, and business impact.
Lisa’s entry in the Industry Segment won her the top ASEAN Regional award in Manufacturing Design, giving much credence to the abilities of our staff in software design and creativity.
Her win is indeed a great boost for her, the College and our students. Lisa is ever willing to share her knowledge, train our students and spur them to greater heights by encouraging them to take part in competitions. A winner and a nurturing teacher – certainly a good role model for all of us to emulate.
