The Institute of Technical Education (ITE) College East in Simei launched its Nitec in Hair Fashion and Design course in January 2008.  The students learn a whole spectrum of hair services from Shampooing, Treatment and Styling, Haircutting, Hair Colouring and Hair Perming in a close to 5,000 sq feet Hair Design Training Centre (HDTC), which L’Oreal Singapore helped design.  It comprises a styling studio, a washing studio and a chemical treatment studio. 

The pioneer batch of students who has completed first year of the two- year course are all ready to perform the various hair services for you.  If you have not visited the fully equipped HDTC, we invite you to make an appointment now and try the services offered by our students. 

For prices starting at, as low as $8 (depending on hair length) for a full head colour, there’s nothing to lose as the students will be supervised by lecturers – themselves ex-stylists who will do the necessary touch-ups.
