Enhanced Teaching with New Mechatronics Application Software
By Han Kum Kwang

The ITE-Bosch Rexroth Technical Seminar was recently organised by the Mechatronics Section of ITE CC (Macpherson). The talk focused on one of Bosch Rexroth newest innovative application software, IndraWorks, which is suitable for controlling a wide variety of linear motion control systems.   Bosch Rexroth is one of the leading organizations renowned for its technological innovations and developments in the areas on "Motor Drives and Controls".

The seminar, held on 7 Nov 08, was presented by Messers Peter Peh and Teo Cheng Huat from Bosch Rexroth (S) Pte Ltd.  The technical lecture was
attended by staff of ITE as well as practitioners from the Industrial Automation Industry.

What’s new in the market?

IndraWorks provide a flexible and visual platform for controlling a wide variety of linear motion control systems. The software allows programs to be run on the simulation mode, and debugging for any possible faults before downloading it to various automation systems, using the usual industry standard interfaces.
