Relishing A New Challenge

Joining ITE College East as an Executive Assistant is something different and of milestone value for me...
My previous experiences were all in Customer Service and Feedback Management in various government organizations, where I had to deal directly with customers, be it face to face, over the phone or the email. If you were to ask me about my experiences, I can tell you that it feels good to always make a customer's day. There is always a sense of satisfaction when you go the extra mile to help a customer solve his/her problems! (within the organization's guidelines, of course) The smiles, the nice gestures, the appreciation that come from the customer can really make my day!
Well, here I am in the Academic Services Department of ITE College East amidst wonderful bosses and colleagues, a great working environment and a beautiful natural atmosphere. I'm here to learn as much as possible from my bosses and colleagues, work hard and do my best for ITE. Life is a learning journey and there are so many more things that I can learn about. I wish to build up on my administrative and organisational skills and learn how to be able to work well with my fellow colleagues. I really wish to stay in ITE College East for as long as possible and contribute to it, to the best of my capabilities.
My personal life revolves around my wife of four years. We have no kids yet, but I should see them coming soon...at least one! :) We go out for bus rides, shopping, makan and movies during her off-days (she's working in the retail industry, hence her off-days do not fall on the weekends most of the time). My own hobbies would be swimming, jogging, surfing the internet, SMSing around and travelling (although I've only travelled to Malaysia - my wife's hometown). That’s about it for my personal life...nothing much right? Maybe I should add more activities in to make it more interesting!
Anyway, I look forward to know, learn and work with more people here in ITE!
