This course enables participants to identify
the roles and responsibilities of a coach
and impart their skills and knowledge effectively.
Participants will
also
learn
how
to
help their trainees and co-workers discover and develop their individual potential
in using newly-learnt skills and knowledge to meet the performance standards.
The following areas will be covered:
- Roles and responsibilities of a coach/supervisor
- Communication skills
- Coaching process
- Assessment (participants
will be required to conduct a 10 minute
coaching session in a task that
is related to their area of work)
Certification
Participants
will be awarded with the Industry Trainer Module
Certificate if they satisfy at least 75% of the
attendance and pass the assessment at the end
of the course.

Fees
$390 ($364.49 + $25.51 GST).
With effect from 1 Aug 07,
there will be a change in the funding arrangement between ITE and SDF.
Company-sponsored applicants who are Singaporeans or Permanent Residents
who wish to apply for SDF assistance will pay ITE the full fees and then apply
to SDF for assistance using Form
1. The form must reach SDF latest 1 day before class commencement.
