Curriculum Design & Development for Skills Training
Course Content

This course is designed to provide participants with an overview of the curriculum development process and the skills and knowledge in identifying training needs and designing in-house training programmes.

The following areas will be covered:

  • Needs & Problem Analysis
  • Job Analysis
  • Task Analysis
  • Writing Skills Standards
  • Assessment Scheme
  • Design Course
  • Instructional Materials Development
  • Training Implementation
  • Course Evaluation
  • Assessment (Participants are required to work on course assignments and present them for discussion and critique. The deadline for submission of course assignments is 1 week from the end of the course.)

Certification
Participants will be awarded with the Industry Trainer Module Certificate if they satisfy at least 75% of the attendance and pass the assessment at the end of the course.

21hrs (3 days; 9.00am to 5.00pm)

Fees
$400 ($373.83 + $26.17 GST).

With effect from 1 Aug 07, there will be a change in the funding arrangement between ITE and SDF.

C
ompany-sponsored applicants who are Singaporeans or Permanent Residents who wish to apply for SDF assistance will pay ITE the full fees and then apply to SDF for assistance using Form 1. The form must reach SDF latest 1 day before class commencement. The form may be downloaded from www.sdf.gov.sg.
