This course is aimed at enhancing the instructional effectiveness of technical instructors and supervisors. The course will cover the following areas:

• Effective facilitation of teaching and learning
• Using instructional media
• Presenting a lesson
• Demonstrating a skill
• Assessment (participants are required to conduct a 10 minute lesson on a topic that is related to your area of work.)

Certification
Participants will be awarded with the Industry Trainer Module Certificate if they satisfy at least 75% of the attendance and pass the assessment at the end of the course.

Duration
24 hrs (3 days; 9.00am to 5.15pm)*

*This course comprises 20 hrs training (3 full days) and 4 hrs coursework done on participant's own time. Participants need not be present at ITE to complete the coursework.

Fees
$410 ($383.18 + $26.82 GST)

With effect from 1 Aug 07, there will be a change in the funding arrangement between ITE and SDF.

Company-sponsored applicants who are Singaporeans or Permanent Residents who wish to apply for SDF assistance will pay ITE the full fees and then apply to SDF for assistance using Form 1. The form must reach SDF latest 1 day before class commencement. The form may be downloaded from www.sdf.gov.sg.
