This course is designed for supervisors. It will equip them with the knowledge and skills to plan and implement on-the-job training of trainees and staff and assess their skill performance.

The course will cover the following areas:

• Interpreting the skills standard and OJT log books
• Assessing performance
• Analysing job and tasks
• Scheduling training
• Assessment (Participants are required to work on course assignments and present them for discussion and critique. The deadline for submission of course assignment is 1 week from the end of the course.)

Duration
18 hrs (2 days; 9.00am - 5.15pm)
The course comprises 14 hrs training and 4 hrs coursework done at participant's own time.

With effect from 1 Aug 07, there will be a change in the funding arrangement between ITE and SDF.

Company-sponsored applicants who are Singaporeans or Permanent Residents who wish to apply for SDF assistance will pay ITE the full fees and then apply to SDF for assistance using Form 1. The form must reach SDF latest 1 day before class commencement. The form may be downloaded from www.sdf.gov.sg.
