Course Content

This course is designed to provide participants
with knowledge on assessment and skills to construct
test items to assess learners’ achievement
in theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
It is directed, in particular, towards in-company
trainers who are or will be involved in setting
test papers leading to ITE certificates as well
as for in-house tests.

of a Good Test
- Approaches to Testing
- Theory Test Planning
- Construction of Test
Items (Selection & Supply

- Writing Instruction to Candidates

- Constructing Practical Tests
- Assessment
(Participants are required to work on course
assignments and present
them for discussion and critique. The deadline
for submission of course assignments
is 1 week from the end of the course.)
Certification
Participants
will be awarded with the Industry Trainer Module
Certificate if they satisfy at least 75% of the
attendance and pass the assessment at the end
of the course.

Fees
$400 ($373.83 + $26.17 GST).
With effect from 1 Aug
07, there will be a change in the funding arrangement between
ITE and SDF.
Company-sponsored applicants who are Singaporeans or Permanent Residents
who wish to apply for SDF assistance will pay ITE the full fees and then apply
to SDF for assistance using Form 1.
The form must reach SDF latest 1 day before class commencement. The form may
be downloaded from www.sdf.gov.sg.
