The School of Applied Sciences at ITE College West provides our students with skills and knowledge in science and technology to enable them to become competent members of the workforce in Chemical Process Industries such as petroleum refining, petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals, healthcare products, wafer fabrication, and environmental management. As it takes exceptional skills and knowledge to work in these industries, a Nitec in Chemical Process Technology will equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge, thereby giving them a head start in these industries. The school is recognized by the Economic Development Board (EDB) as the main process-training provider for many of the chemical & pharmaceutical companies in Singapore .

The school is the only school in ITE that provides training for school leavers and adult learners as Enrolled Process Technicians to serve the growing Process Industries of Singapore. After going through the practice oriented curricula delivered by dedicated, qualified and experience staff, our students are well prepared to face the challenges in the industry.

At present, the School of Applied Sciences is allocated at ITE College West, Bukit Batok campus.
