Do you see yourself leading a team of Hospitality Professionals in the near future?

When you enrol in the Higher Nitec in Hospitality Operations course, you will be equipped with service skills and knowledge that are sought after by the hospitality and tourism industry. Your learning will take place in ITE’s authentic hands-on facilities that mirror those in the industry. You will gain knowledge in Front Office Operations, Executive Lounge Service, Housekeeping, Hospitality Data Analytics, Hospitality systems, Hospitality Events Management, and Customer Service.

Our programme includes a 6-month enhanced internship at one of the many establishments in the hospitality industry that partners with ITE.

  • Perform housekeeping services

Entry Requirements

GCE 'O' level grades in English Language and 2 other subjects:

  • Grade 1-7 in English Language
  • Grade 1-7 in 2 other subjects
    To be eligible for selection, you must have sat for Mathematics (Elementary/Additional).

or

GCE 'N(A)' level grades in English Language and 2 other subjects:

  • Grade 1-3 in English Language
  • Grade 1-4 in Mathematics
  • Grade 1-5 in 3 other subjects; and
  • A total of 19 points or less for English, Mathematics and three other subjects (ELMAB3)*

* Eligible, graduating GCE N(A) students who applied and enrolled during the January intake under the Direct Entry Scheme,will undergo 10 weeks of preparatory programme followed by 2 years of Higher Nitec training.

Higher Nitec in Hospitality Operations graduates may apply for progression to the following Work-Study Diploma courses at ITE:


Higher Nitec in Hospitality Operations graduates with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 and above may apply for progression to a Technical Diploma course at ITE. For more details on progression, please click here.
