Nitec in Electronics (Mobile Devices) graduates with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 and above may apply for progression to the first year of a related diploma course at the Polytechnics.
Nitec in Electronics (Mobile Devices) graduates with a GPA of 2.3 and above may also apply for progression to related Higher Nitec courses offered by ITE.
Nitec in Electronics (Mobile Devices) graduates are employed by organizations and companies that support contract manufacturing services for mobile devices and equipment, components and sub-assemblies and final product for Original Equipment Manufacturers as well as those that provide repairs and refurbishment of mobile devices and testing services.
There are excellent opportunities for career advancement to supervisory positions and beyond. The challenge is for students to upgrade their technical skills and knowledge by taking up higher-level courses.
To obtain the Nitec in Electronics (Mobile Devices) certification, you need to accumulate at least 74 credits.
