- Create multi-axis part program for Multi-axis Machining Centre and Milling Machine (HSM) using CAD/CAM system.
- Set up and operate Multi-axis Machining Centre and CNC High Speed Milling Machine.
- Manufacture medical components such as dental implants, bone screws orthopaedic devices.
- Assemble injection mould.
- Perform mould setting and testing.
- Develop mould design using CAD/CAM system.
- Perform quality checks.
- Perform preventive maintenance.

Nitec in Medical Manufacturing Technology graduates with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 and above may apply for progression to the first year of a related diploma course at the Polytechnics. For more details on diploma courses for progression, please refer to the Joint Polytechnic Admissions website.
Nitec in Medical Manufacturing Technology graduates with a GPA of 2.3 and above may also apply for progression to related Higher Nitec courses offered by ITE.
Nitec in Medical Manufacturing Technology graduates are employed as manufacturing specialist by high value manufacturing industries in particular the Medical Technology, Precision Modules and Components, Aerospace, Machinery and Systems and Transport Engineering sectors.
