You will work with a team to provide counselling for students with special educational needs; work with lecturers and external agencies
on case referrals and consultations; organise and conduct relevant
workshops and training for students and lecturers; and coordinate
developmental programmes and needs assessment for students.
You should possess:
a degree in Social Work, and/or Counselling from an established university;
good interpersonal and communication skills;
ability to work independently as well as in a team; and
ability to work with youth from various social and ethnic backgrounds.
Prior school counselling experience will be an advantage. Those with work experience as a supervisor of professional counsellors may be considered for headship positions.
