As an Educational Development Specialist, you will provide professional leadership, professional development opportunities, collaborative support and consultation to Lecturers, Mentors and Educational Technology Specialists in ITE to support their professional growth. You will also develop instructional models, innovative technology tools and engaging resources that promote student-centred, competence-based learning.
For this post, you should be a self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal, facilitation, written and verbal communication skills. In addition, you should possess a degree or post-graduate qualification in education with at least 2 to 3 years experience in the following areas :

Initiating, developing, presenting and organising professional development activities (such as training courses, sharing sessions, seminars and conferences); |

Guiding/providing consultancy to teachers/faculty staff in integrating technology into teaching and learning; |
 |
Managing learning resources development projects and providing instructional design support for such projects; and |
 |
Initiating and/or providing professional support to teachers/faculty staff in researching, customizing/developing, piloting and evaluating new uses of technology tools and/or instructional models. |
Candidates with postgraduate qualification in instructional design or educational technology will have an added advantage.
