| TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER |

As a Technology Development Engineer, your challenge is to identify and pioneer development projects in key technology areas to enhance ITE’s capabilities. You will act as a consultant to assist academic staff in responding to technical challenges and facilitate project teams in the execution of industry projects. You are expected to introduce or develop innovative technologies to enhance our industry partners’ capabilities, provide assistance in leading projects, set up new laboratory facilities, analyse technology trends and commercialise the developed technologies. You will also introduce new technologies and applications into the curriculum, and be engaged to teach and facilitate learning.
- Material Characterisation
- Mechanical Design
- Microelectronics Assembly
- Software Control for Automation
- Wireless or Embedded Hardware
Requirements:
You should possess a degree in a relevant field, with at least five years of work experience in technology development in one of the above-mentioned areas.
You should also be a good team player, possess strong communication and presentation skills and be able to work independently. Experience in drafting project proposal or commercialisation of technology will be an added advantage.
