Welcome to the National Day and Teachers' Day edition of CHEER!, ITE's special e-newsletter for secondary school teachers.
How did you celebrate the nation's 44th birthday? Here at ITE, we spent National Day training Singapore's finest skills competitors for the WorldSkills Competition 2009, to be held in Calgary, Canada in September. We wish them luck and hope they do well for Singapore.
Speaking of doing well, we are proud to introduce you to our gold medal winners from the Class of 2009. These top graduates prove that determination and hard work will lead you to success.
The first half of 2009 was an eventful one for ITE. The School of Design and Media was launched to train and develop our local talent pool in the creative industries. ITE also launched the Technical Engineer Diploma in Automotive Engineering, further positioning our graduates in the key growth areas of the automotive and motorsport industries.
