INTERACTIVE MEDIA SPECIALIST

You should be a multimedia designer with programming knowledge and/or video production background. You should also be able to conceptualise, design and develop interactive content objects (2D/3D), user interfaces as well as print-based materials based on requirements for varied purposes (mainly educational).

Requirements

You should meet the following requirements:

• At least Diploma qualifications with at least 2 years of work experience in interactive media design;
• Strong visual design skills with the ability to conceptualise and illustrate design concepts;
• Proficiency and experience in 2D and 3D graphic, mulitmedia and animation software like Adobe Flash, Photoshop, illustrator, 3D Studio Max, Maya is essential;
• Good knowledge of authoring languages for interactive media, such as ActionScript and dynamic (D) HTML, is necessary;
• Experience in Video production and post-production work is an advantage;
• Experience in Microsoft server-side VBScript and ASP development, and client-side JavaScript programming is preferred;
• Able to work independently and effectively even under tight deadlines. Is a strong team player with initiative, and is creative and resourceful; and
• Possess good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
