This course covers the principles and methods of constructing assessment to determine the outcome of learning. In addition to the topics outlined below, participants will learn the do’s and don’ts of constructing theory questions, grading test items, and selecting assessment criteria and tools. They will be required to prepare a test/assessment plan and both a theory and practical test paper.

Perform item analysis
Design practical assessment specifications
Construct practical test paper
Conduct assessment of learners
Assessment (Participants are required to work on course assignments and sit for a 1 hour written test.)
Participants are strongly encouraged to bring along a laptop for course work preparation.
Admission Guidelines Participants are to have at least Grade C6 in English at the GCE 'O' level to be able to benefit from the course.
Certification Participants will be awarded with the Industry Trainer Module Certificate if they satisfy at least 80% of the attendance and pass the assessment at the end of the course.
