Technology Development Engineer

As a Technology Development Engineer, your challenge is to identify and pioneer development projects in key technology areas to enhance ITE’s capabilities. You will act as a consultant to assist academic staff in responding to technical challenges and facilitate project teams in the execution of industry projects. You are expected to introduce or develop innovative technologies to enhance our industry partners’ capabilities, provide assistance in leading projects, set up new laboratory facilities, analyse technology trends and commercialise the developed technologies. You will also introduce new technologies and applications into the curriculum, as well as be engaged to teach and facilitate learning. Suitable candidates with good industry experience may be considered for the Senior Technology Development Engineer position.
