OR

2 GCE 'O' Level Grades
(Grade 1 - 8) in any two subjects
 
2 Years The trainee should be able to make a range of breads, pastries, cakes and other dessert specialities in accordance with the given recipes using appropriate methods and equipment. 
Nitec in Food & Beverage Operations 3 GCE 'N' Passes (Grade A - D or Grade 1 - 5) in English Language and two other subjects

OR

2 GCE 'O' Level Grade
(Grades 1 - 8) in any two subjects
 
2 Years  The trainee should be able to perform waiting and bartending duties in a restaurant.
Nitec in Western Culinary Arts 3 GCE 'N' Level Passes
(Grade A – D or Grades 1 - 5) in English and two other subjects

OR

2 GCE 'O' Level Grades
(Grades 1 - 8) in any two subjects
 
2 Years  The trainee should be able to prepare, cut, process and cook food items.
Nitec in Culinary Skills (Chinese Cuisine) Completed GCE ‘N’ Level OR GCE ‘O’ Level 2 Years The trainee should be able to prepare a specified range of meat, poultry, fish and seafood dishes, accompaniments and side dishes, as well as dim sum and desserts according to recipe specifications.
