Singapore's Principal Provider of Vocational and Technical Education

The Institute of Technical Education (ITE), Singapore, was established as a post-secondary education institution in 1992 under the Ministry of Education. ITE is a principal provider of career and technical education and principal authority in developing national occupational skills certification and standards to enhance Singapore's workforce competitiveness.

In line with the vision of ITE Innovate plan, we aim to place ITE at the forefront of innovations for Vocational and Technical Education (VTE) in the global arena, through our international initiatives.

Over the years, we have formed strategic partnerships with renowned global institutions to deepen and widen our linkages for learning, sharing and exchange for ITE staff and students.  We have shared our experience in VTE with the international community through conferences, study visits, benchmarking, consultancy and training services.
