Possess technical skills and knowledge in programming, setting up and operating a Computer Numerically-Controlled (CNC) lathe at National ITE Certificate (Nitec) level and above |
Competition Format
The project will be structured in modules. Competitors will be required to:

Write part programs for CNC turning of components |

Set up a CNC lathe and produce components to specifications achieving an accuracy of 0.01mm for dimensions and 0.8 micron for surface roughness |
