Registration
Who can participate?
All education institutions (such as secondary schools, junior colleges, ITE Colleges, polytechnics and universities) and companies conducting traineeship programmes are invited to sponsor their students, trainees and skilled personnel to participate in WorldSkills Singapore 2012. Competitors must be:
 
Singapore Citizens;
In line with the WorldSkills International guidelines, competitors must not be older than 21 years in the year of the WorldSkills Singapore competition.  At present, recognised exceptions to this rule exist in respect of Information Network Cabling, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Team Challenge and Aircraft Maintenance, where competitors must not be older than 24 years in the year of the WorldSkills Singapore competition.
Undergoing or have completed relevant training/course at an education institution or company.
NS-liable male competitors must graduate from their respective institution in March 2012 or later.
 
How to register?
Registration of competitors to participate in WorldSkills Singapore 2012 will be done through the sponsoring institutions/companies.
 
Stage 1
Sponsoring institutions/companies will indicate the number of competitors that they wish to field for each of the skills areas. The closing date for Stage 1 registration is 25 Nov 2011.

Stage 2
Sponsoring institutions/companies will be notified of the number of competitors that they may field for each skills area by 09 Dec 2011. The closing date for Stage 2 registration of competitors is 16 Dec 2011.
