New Students

If you are currently not enrolled in any of the Part-time Nitec intakes, you are to apply as a new student for this Nitec intake. If you are currently attending a Nitec course and wish to apply for module(s) in a different Nitec course, you are considered a new student for that different course and will have to apply as a new student for that course.

Applicants who are not Singaporeans or Permanent Residents may apply for part-time programmes offered by ITE. For details, please refer to application form.

On-going Students

On-going and past-year students may refer to the course listing for the course structure applicable to their course of study. Do note that all applicants are not allowed to repeat a module in which they have obtained a pass grade. Please click here for a copy of the application guide for on-going students.

SkillsFuture Credit

Part-time Nitec courses are SkillsFuture Credit approved courses. Applicants using SkillsFuture Credit to apply for these courses are to apply at any ITE Customer & Visitor Centre. For details on SkillsFuture Credit, please visit  https://www.skillsfuture.sg/credit

Note: SkillsFuture Credit claims can only be paid out to Training Providers.  This means that if you paid your full course fees upfront, you will not be able to use your SkillsFuture Credit.

Document Verification for Web Application

New students who are Singapore Citizens (SCs) or Singapore Permanent Residents (SPRs) and have applied over the Web with self-declared qualifications are required to produce their original documents for verification at the College of study or any Customer & Visitor Centre (during office hours) for the January 2020 Intake:

  • From Wed 13 Nov 19 to Tue 19 Nov 19; or
  • From Tue 24 Dec 19 to Fri 10 Jan 20; or
  • From Mon 13 Jan 20 to Fri 24 Jan 20.

The verification includes a colour vision test for courses requiring students to be free from colour appreciation deficiency. Applicants should also check that they have met the Minimum Entry Requirements for the course that they are applying for.

ITE's refund policy will apply for withdrawals as a result of the verification, including for the following scenarios:

  • Applicants are found to have falsely/incorrectly declared any part of their qualifications; or
  • Applicants do not meet the course Entry Requirements; or
  • Applicants do not produce their documents for verification by the stipulated periods.

Students are advised to verify their documents during the verification periods before term commencement, as there is no refund of course fees after course commencement. Term commencement is indicated at the Academic Calendar as shown  here.
