Making My First Computer

What’s inside my computer? This is a common question posed by computer users. This course enables learners to answer that question by providing opportunities for them to use a single board mini-computer to create programmes, install a software application, troubleshoot, and experiment with its hardware without worrying about damaging expensive equipment or taking down a network.

At the end of the module, students will be able to:

Build a Single Board Computer with applications

1	Single Board Computer (SBC) system Explain the computer laboratory safety rules and procedures. Describe the purpose and characteristics of the SBC components. Describe the steps to assemble the SBC system. Explain the basic functions of an operating system. Describe the installation and configuration process for SBC operating system. Set up a Single Board Computer system.
2	Software Application Program Describe the software application installation process in the SBC system. Describe the software application configuration settings in the SBC system. Set up the software application in the SBC system.
