ITE College West - Other Facilities

The Experience ITE Centre (EIC) offers a 1-day hands-on programme specially designed for Sec 2 Normal (Technical) and Sec 3 Normal (Academic) students to learn about courses offered by ITE College West. 

This will assist students to make informed choices for their future pursuit of technical education at ITE. 

The EIC is also the venue to host our outreach programmes like the Come Visit ITE College West Programme and competitions like Ignite Skills Challenge. It also hosts visitors from time to time. 

The flexible usage of the open field for a variety of sports or games, such as soccer, rugby, ultimate frisbee and softball helps to develop interest in sports as well as promotes health and fitness for our students. 

Adjacent to the football stadium, which seats up to 800 spectators, are the basketball, netball, tennis and futsal courts. Students can also utilise these facilities to play sepak takraw, volleyball, handball and practice archery.

It has two main areas namely the Activity Zone and the Playzone. 

There are modular seats in the Activity Zone that allows for reconfiguration to support project discussion. Students can also play foosball or pool here. At the Playzone, students can choose to play at any of the four gaming stations including PS4, Xbox and Kinect

Another popular area in the SAC is the Connect Room. This is where students can enjoy karaoke sessions or just congregate for discussions. 

The College West Student Care Centre houses the Counselling Team and the Learning Accessibility Office. 

This is where our counsellors provide a safe and cosy environment for our students to openly express their feelings or share any troubling issues. Our Learning Support Team here, provide support for students who encounter challenges arising from disabilities or special educational needs. 

The Student Services Centre is located within the Career Services Centre. It aims to provide a one-stop service for students to obtain information related to fees and financial matters.  

Students can also find out more on the administrative support available for their well-being. This include applications for bursaries and computers.  

Other support services that the Centre offers include seeing to the students’ needs on insurance claims, student passes, loaning of games and equipment, including requests for student lockers.
