The Broadcast & Media industry is always fun and exciting. From executing real-time live broadcast of events (e.g. NDP), planning precise schedule for broadcast, quality check on broadcast media contents, to watching over 100 of TV channels worldwide, there is never a dull moment for our graduates.

Our training labs are equipped with industry grade broadcasting equipment. You will be trained like a professional to use this equipment to handle incoming broadcast media materials, manage master control room functions, manage play-out system, operate a media assets library, support broadcasting technical infrastructure and perform editing on broadcast-quality media.

Entry Requirements

GCE 'O' level grades in English Language, Mathematics and 1 approved subject:

  • Grade 1-8 in English Language
  • Grade 1-7 in Mathematics (Elementary/Additional)

  • Applicants for this course must ensure that they are free from colour appreciation deficiency.

Higher Nitec in Broadcast & Media Technology graduates may apply for progression to the following Work-Study Diploma course at ITE:


Higher Nitec in Broadcast & Media Technology graduates with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 and above may apply for progression to the first year of a related diploma course at the Polytechnics.
