Join this course and be the front line of essential services in providing planned maintenance, undertake the servicing and installation of lifts and escalators systems. You will also have a chance to learn basic building and facilities maintenance.

Apply your knowledge and gain real-life (on-the-job) training in a lift and escalator company providing essential services at HDB, commercial establishments and private buildings.

Entry Requirements

Completed GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level

Note: Applicants for these courses must ensure that they are free from colour appreciation deficiency

Progression Opportunities

Nitec in Built Environment (Vertical Transportation) graduates with a minimum GPA of 2.0 may apply for progression to the following Work-Study Diploma courses at ITE:

Nitec in Built Environment (Vertical Transportation) graduates with good results may apply for progression to the first year of a related diploma course at the Polytechnics.

Nitec in Built Environment (Vertical Transportation) graduates with GPA of 2.3 and above may also apply for progression to a related Higher Nitec courses offered by ITE.
