This course focuses on the technical skills of food and beverage service and provides you with the knowledge for effective management of hospitality operations with a foundation for hotel guests’ service and housekeeping.
Areas of training include skills essential to food and beverage service, with a focus on developing barista and mixology skills and knowledge, appreciation of food and its different ingredients, exposure to events and conventions and an introduction to hotel guests services and facility maintenance.
Apply your knowledge and gain real-life (on-the-job) training at restaurants and food and beverage outlets at hotels.

Progression Opportunities
Nitec in Hospitality Operations graduates with a minimum GPA of 2.0 may apply for progression to the following Work-Study Diploma courses at ITE:
Nitec in Hospitality Operations graduates with a GPA of 3.5 and above may apply for progression to the first year of a related diploma course at the Polytechnics. For more details on diploma courses for progression, please refer to the Joint Polytechnic Admissions website.
Nitec in Hospitality Operations graduates with a GPA of 3.0 and above may apply for progression to the Technical Diploma in Culinary Arts course conducted by ITE in collaboration with Institut Paul Bocuse, France.
Nitec in Hospitality Operations graduates with a GPA of 2.8 and above may also apply for progression to related Higher Nitec courses offered by ITE.
