Accredited by the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB), the three-week Back to Nursing Practice Course (Emergency Response) for Enrolled Nurses (BNP) is a shortened refresher course. It aims to re-train out-of-practice nurses to augment the local nursing workforce amidst the COVID-19 situation in Singapore. BNP equips nurses with the knowledge, skills and values necessary to practise competently and safely in an inpatient healthcare setting.

On successful completion of BNP, proceed to secure employment/placement with an employer (i.e. acute or community hospital), undergo six months of competency assessment within a year of completing the BNP course and achieve 100% competence in generic skills before SNB will accord you with Conditional/Full-Registration status. While placement to an employer can be facilitated under the SG Healthcare Corps, you may source for employment on your own, especially if you have specific preferences.
