Application Procedure


Jointly developed by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) and SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), this WSQ course provides the framework to equip participants with the knowledge and skills in observing food hygiene and safety while preparing or handling food. This is a mandatory course for chefs, cooks, kitchen helpers, food stall assistants and anyone who is involved in the preparation and handling of food, and anyone planning to work in F&B establishments. Candidates certified competent will meet the licensing requirement to work as food handlers.

Course Information

Course participants are required to achieve 100% course attendance to be eligible to take the end of course assessment. Candidates who pass the assessment will receive a Letter of Completion and a WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA).
