Work with the dental surgeon to provide dental prostheses services to patients, and focus on processes such as fabricating, polishing and detailed ceramic layering.

Join this course and gain knowledge on dental technology, complete dentures, partial dentures and removable appliances, metal and ceramic restoration.

Apply your knowledge and gain real-life (on-the-job) training at dental laboratories.

  • Prepare diagnostic cast
  • Fabricate complete dentures
  • Fabricate partial dentures
  • Repair damaged or fractured dentures
  • Fabricate temporary restoration
  • Fabricate full metal restoration
  • Fabricate metal ceramic restoration
  • Fabricate all ceramic restoration
  • Fabricate TMD splints (Temporomandibular Disorder)
  • Solder dental framework

Entry Requirements

To apply for the Nitec in Dental Technology course, you need to have:

Subject Grade
GCE ‘O’ level grades in any 2 subjects 1 – 8
GCE ‘N’ level Passes in Mathematics and 2 other subjects A – D or 1 – 5

Note: Applicants recommended by their employers will be admitted on a case-by-case basis. 


Duration and Venue

This is a two-year course and training will be conducted at ITE Approved Training Centres.
