Course Overview
You could be working anywhere: corporate settings, government agencies, organisations, schools, hospitals, you name it!

You can play an important role in any organisation by taking up this course. You will learn to handle simple finance administration, organise business events, arrange meetings, make travel arrangements, prepare and process office documents. If you like doing this and working on a computer, then this is the course for you!

Acquire knowledge and skills which are highly relevant to the industry as follows :
- Provide quality customer service
- Produce office documents using common software packages
- Handle office procedures
- Handle oral and written communication in a business/workplace environment
Entry Requirements
To apply for the Nitec in Business Services course, you need to have:

GCE ‘O’ level grades in any 2 subjects

Successful students will be required to purchase a Laptop which will cost about $500 - $1,500 for the 2-year course. This is in addition to the course fees.

Progression Opportunities
Nitec in Business Services graduates with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 and above may apply for progression to the first year of a related diploma course at the Polytechnics. For more details on diploma courses for progression, please refer to the Joint Polytechnic Admissions website.
Nitec in Business Services graduates with a GPA of 2.8 and above may also apply for progression to related Higher Nitec courses offered by ITE. For more information on progression, please click here.
Career Prospects
Nitec in Business Services graduates are employed by companies in all sectors of the economy, including government agencies, statutory boards and private companies. Some of the job titles held by graduates include Administrative Support Assistants, Customer Service Representatives, Executive Assistants and Telesales Officers.
