Guided by its fifth five-year strategic roadmap, ITE Trailblazer (2015 – 2019), ITE focused on one of the Trailblazer goals to forge and strengthen value-creating global collaborations with like-minded vocational and technical education and higher education institutions around the world.
Through its partnerships with 38 institutions across 13 countries, ITE has created a network of active and strategic collaborations across all levels from management, to staff and students alike. Areas of collaboration include staff and student exchange, benchmarking, curriculum development, teaching pedagogy, educational design and technology and apprenticeship. These collaborations support ITE students in their journey of skills mastery and broaden their minds to new cultures, experiences and ways of learning. Faculty are well-connected with their global counterparts, having accrued the benefits of a wide experience in teaching in new and different environments.
