• Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5 in Speaking and Listening, and Level 4 in Reading, Writing and Numeracy.

• Electrical Technology (Power & Control)^{(1) (2)}

• Completed GCE ‘O’ Level; or

• Passed BEST Module 4 Mathematics (for those with work experience); or

• Accumulated at least 60 hours of structured On-the-Job Training under the Certified On-the-Job Training Centre (COJT) system. The OJT must be relevant to the course applied for; or

• Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking and Listening, and Level 4 in Reading and Numeracy.

⁽²⁾ Applicant applying for this course must be free from colour appreciation deficiency. A score of 100% from the Colour Blindness Test is mandatory for course admission.

• Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 4 in Numeracy.
