MakeX International Mentor Programme

Course duration: 14 hours

In collaboration with MakeX Robotics Competition organiser, this immersive 2-day programme is designed to empower international mentors with the competencies required to train, support, and lead student teams in MakeX competitions across the globe. 

Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of MakeX rules, technical systems, mentoring methodologies, and collaborative practices to prepare teams for success on the international stage.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided during the course

Target audience

Individuals or professionals interested in coaching teams to participate in robotics competition, leading teachers’ training, and managing the operations to host robotics competitions.

What you'll learn

By the end of this programme, participants will be able to:

• Master MakeX competition categories, structures, and scoring systems.

• Confidently assemble and program Makeblock robots using block-based and Python programming.

• Apply effective coaching strategies to cultivate teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving.

• Conduct structured training, mock matches, and robot performance reviews.

• Join a global mentor network for continued support and collaboration.

• Attain certification as an International MakeX Intermediate Mentor.
