This course equips participants with basic pipe fitting skills and knowledge.

Note: Participants will be required to wear safety shoes during lessons for safety reasons.

What you'll learn

  • Basic industrial and workshop safety

  • Types of pipes, tubes and fitting e.g. steel, copper and uPVC

  • Cut, bend and join pipes and tubes

  • Troubleshoot pipes and tubing failures

  • Cut, thread and bend galvanized pipe, copper tubes and PVC pipe

  • Install a pipe system

  • Perform thread cutting using a pipe-threading machine.
