Our Community Care Training Centre offers a unique learning experience for students interested in the provision of care and support services. It is designed to look and feel like real nursing homes and rehabilitation centres. This realistic setting helps students understand what it is like to work in the community care field.

Hands-on learning in a realistic environment

The centre includes facilities like a ward, assisted bath, and special needs areas, all with age-appropriate furniture. Students also have access to a pantry, dining area, and a special corner for clients with dementia. By practising skills in this authentic environment, students are well-prepared for their future roles as social service assistants.

Our facility is designed to give students a realistic nursing experience. Using high-tech mannequins which can react to nursing care, students can practice their skills in a variety of medical situations. This helps them understand how to handle unexpected or critical events with confidence.
