ITE-VTC International Student Seminar 2026

The ITE-VTC International Student Seminar (ISS) is a biennial event jointly organised by the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), Singapore, and Vocational Training Council (VTC), Hong Kong since 2007. Each institution takes turns hosting the event, with VTC hosting the inaugural event and Singapore hosting the second in 2009.

The theme for this year's ISS is "Youth Voices in a Changing World". Capturing the spirit of collaboration, innovation and resilience in co-creating solutions to current challenges, the theme comprises three sub-themes:

• Innovative Cities: Sustainability in Urban Futures

• Smart Shifts: Gen AI and the Future World

• Shared Stories: Identity, Inclusion and Global Citizenship

Students from Shenzhen Polytechnic will also be participating in the event this year.
