ITE Ramps Up AIoT and Automation Capabilities with New Partnerships

To promote communications, collaboration, and customer-oriented learning for Industry 4.0 Integrated Systems, ITE launched a new AIoT & Automation Lab at the AI & Digital Readiness Partnership Event²⁰²³ at ITE College West on 22 September 2023.

The Lab was officially opened by Guest-of-Honour, Mr Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Communications and Information & Ministry of National Development. Designed to resemble an actual workspace with IoT, Automation and Robotics features, the Lab will provide authentic training for Work-Study Diploma in Electronics & AI trainees and Higher Nitec in Electronics Engineering students. This Lab was jointly set up by ITE and Bosch Rexroth Pte Ltd.

Strengthening Partnerships
During the event, ITE also signed a new Memorandum of Understanding with Bosch Rexroth Pte Ltd, and renewed two MOUs with CISCO International Ltd, and UBTECH Robotics Co. Ltd. These MOUs will strengthen cooperation between ITE and industry partners in areas such as Industry IoT & Automation, Advanced Networking & Security Solutions and Robotics.

With their support, ITE will work on upskilling the technology capabilities of ITE staff, students, graduates and adult learners to be in tandem with industry needs.
