AWARDS

At ITE, we recognise students with excellent academic records, leadership qualities and diverse talents with a wide range of awards as shown below. No application is needed as you will be selected if you meet the awards criteria.

A) Good Progress Award 

We present this award to full-time Singaporean students (top 10%) who have shown commendable improvements in their courses of study (Nitec and Higher Nitec). Students must pass all accountable modules in the examinations and not be in receipt of the Edusave Merit Bursary or ITE Community Scholarship. This award is valued at $400.

B) Edusave Awards for Achievement, Good Leadership and Service (EAGLES) 

ITE recognises students for their leadership qualities, service to community and excellence in the non-academic areas, i.e. Sports & Games, Art and Cultural Activities, Clubs and Societies and Community Service. Up to 10% of Singaporean Nitec and Higher Nitec students are given this award. This award is valued at $500.

C) Edusave Character Award (ECHA)

We present this award to students who demonstrate exemplary character and outstanding personal qualities through their behaviour and actions.  Up to 2% of full-time Singaporean Nitec and Higher Nitec students are given this award. This award is valued at $500.

D) Edusave Skills Award (ESA)

The ESA is administered and funded by MOE under the Edusave Fund.

We present this award to full-time final year students who have demonstrated excellent professional and soft skills throughout their course of study based on their performance in curriculum components such as internships, final year projects, and/or achievements in competitions, conferences or other platforms that require the application of course-specific skills.  Up to 10% of Singaporean Nitec and Higher Nitec students are given this award. This award is valued at $500.

E) ITE Arts Excellence Award

The objectives of the ITE Arts Excellence Award is to recognise quality contributions by students to the ITE arts scene and to motivate on-going students to excel in music and the arts.

We present this award to full-time students who excel in music and the arts and have contributed to the arts scene in ITE. Final year Nitec and Higher Nitec students who have outstanding arts &/or music achievements/performance, good CCA records, exemplary conduct and positive attitude will be nominated for the award. This award is valued at $300.

F) ITE Sports Excellence Award

The ITE Sports Excellence Award encourages and motivates on-going students to excel in sports and games, and recognise outstanding contributions and achievements by students in the sports arena. This award is valued at $300.

G) ITE CCA Medal 

We present this award to full-time Nitec and Higher Nitec students who have brought honours to ITE through their achievements in music and the arts, sports and games or have contributed significantly to the enhancement of College life and demonstrated outstanding leadership in their chosen CCA.

Students must also be a recipient of the EAGLES award and those with an equivalent incentive award will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Each awardee will receive a certificate and a medal.

H) ITE Student Commendation Award

We present this award to students who have participated in competitions at the national or international levels and have won commendations or awards for their outstanding achievements. Each year, a maximum of 15 awards are given to full-time, Nitec and Higher Nitec students.

This award comprises a certificate and a plaque.

I) Lee Kuan Yew CCA Award

This award is a recognition of excellence in CCA and is presented to the most deserving students who have distinguished themselves among the ITE CCA Medallists. Each year, a maximum of 3 awards are given to full-time Nitec and Higher Nitec students.

This award comprises a cash quantum of $400, a trophy and a certificate.

J) Lee Kuan Yew Model Student/Trainee Award 

This award is presented to students and trainees who have performed consistently well in their courses and have displayed outstanding conduct and attitude to be role models for their peers. It aims to inspire students and trainees to display exemplary behaviour in training and develop high moral values as well as show care and concern for others.

Each year, a maximum of 10 awards are given to full-time, Nitec and Higher Nitec students. This award comprises a cash quantum of $400, a trophy and a certificate.

K) Lee Kuan Yew Technology Award

This award is presented to students who have developed excellent projects that represent quality, technical innovation and creativity. This award aims to inspire students to develop a passion for challenges, creativity and competition.

Each year, a maximum of 10 awards are given to teams comprising full-time, Nitec and Higher Nitec students.  This award comprises a cash quantum of $400, a trophy and a certificate.
