Attain academic qualifications from Secondary One Normal (Academic) to GCE 'O'' level.

The General Education (GE) Programme provides opportunities for adult learners to upgrade their academic qualifications from Secondary One Normal (Academic) to GCE 'O' level.

Registration

The March 2025 intake is scheduled from 27 Jan to 10 Feb 2025.

STEP* will be used to administer all ITE Continuing Education & Training (CET) courses starting from 1 April 2024 onwards. For company sponsorship, you will need Corppass to log in to STEP Company Portal. Find out how companies can be onboarded to STEP [PDF, 100 KB].

Examination

Sec 1N to Sec 3N

  • ITE Exams are scheduled in the evenings at the study centres in Oct

  • Results will be sent to candidates via postal mail by end Dec

Sec 4N and Sec 5N

  • Students are required to register for GCE 'N'[resource:145:86750]'O' level examinations as private candidates

  • Singaporeans are to register with ITE; and PR/International students are to register directly with SEAB

Opening hours

  • Monday to Friday: 6.45pm to 9.45pm

  • Saturday/Sunday: 9.00am to 12.00pm or 1.00pm to 4.00pm

Application for Trainer

Suitable candidates with NIE qualifications and relevant teaching experience at secondary schools may apply as part-time trainers in the GE Programme. Please submit your application with supporting documents.
